You can also update your contact information using Ask VA (https://www.va.gov/contact-us/ask-va/introduction) or by calling the Education Call Center at 888-442-4551, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.
Having updated contact information enables the Department of Veterans Affairs to keep you informed about important updates related to your education benefits and enrollment verification requirements.

Thank you to all who were able to attend the Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony held last week here at Mizzou recognizing the nearly 3,000 lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

Today, on Purple Heart Day, Mizzou joins the nation in honoring the brave men and women of the U.S. military who have been wounded or lost their lives in service to our country. We recognize their personal sacrifice in the defense of this great nation helped to ensure the freedom that we all receive because of their actions.

The University of Missouri-Columbia is a Purple Heart University, and we hold dearly our charge to serve all those who have served, or are serving, and their family members.

As a nation each Memorial Day we remember and honor those military members who laid down their lives while in service to our great nation. Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. VA has a variety of mental health resources, information, treatment options and more—all accessible to Veterans, their supporters and the general public.
A mobile application has also been developed which allows you to take a variety of mental health assessments from the comfort and convenience of home.

Staff from the Truman VA Hospital and the MU Veterans Law Clinic will be on hand between 11 am and 2 pm to help you sign up for health care through the VA, answer questions regarding your health care, counseling, service discharge upgrades, as well as discuss available resources. We hope to see you there.
VITAL stands for: The Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership program.

Thanks to all the MU military-connected students that were able to participate in either our spring semester Welcome Back Video Game Night on January 29th or attended the Mizzou Basketball game vs. Oklahoma on February 10th.
