As part of their Application of Evidence Based Practice course, first-year OTD students spent the semester exploring OT research areas they’re personally passionate about. Groups spent time forming their own clinical questions and diving deep into the evidence. They learned how to frame questions, conduct comprehensive literature searches, and critically appraise and synthesize findings. They presented key takeaways to inform current practice while building skills they’ll carry forward as evidence-driven clinicians.

This competitive fellowship is designed to cultivate advanced‑practice Occupational Therapists through intensive clinical training, mentorship with expert clinicians, and evidence‑based practice across the continuum of care. From acute and outpatient settings to specialty experiences such as driver’s rehabilitation, low vision, and mental health, this program prepares fellows to make a meaningful impact on Veteran health and quality of life.
