Hedy Lamarr was born November 9, 1914. Known as the most beautiful woman in Hollywood, she was an avid inventor who, along with George Anthell, was awarded a patent for a "Secret Communication System" in 1942. That technology would later assist in the development of things like Bluetooth and WiFi. She and Anthell were posthumously inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
