🌞 We've loved seeing so much engagement with our special summer issue of Insights for College Transitions since it was published last week!

Over the next few weeks, we'll be spotlighting each article in this issue. Up first is "Faculty Development Beyond the First-Year Seminar: Making the Case for Faculty Development Centering First-Year Pedagogies."

From the authors:
"Faculty Development Beyond the First-Year Seminar makes the case for the expansion of faculty development beyond traditional first-year seminars to include all educators who teach and support first-year students. Using a case study from Elon University, the authors highlight how campus-wide and intentional faculty development around the concept of “first-year pedagogies” can create shared language, values, and specialized teaching strategies that strengthen student belonging, engagement, and success."
