Third-year Scenic Design MFA student Egba Evwibovwe recently got the chance to create stunning 3D renderings for an upcoming production of Michael Rohd's "The Compass" at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. USC Asst. Professor Erik Flatmo is the scenic designer for the production, described as a "live interactive performance" set in a courtroom trial whose ending changes nightly based on the audience's decision. Egba says the design evolves "into a tangible, textured space that shapeshifts for all the scenes in the play... Like the revolving piece on stage, this is a beautiful case study of how a single design element can be the defining element of a space. Thanks for the opportunity to collaborate on this, Erik."
