The Columbia College Archives has a rich and fascinating history. The college has long had a respect for its unique and varied history. With the creation of the first alumnae record keeping to the current Columbia College Alumni Association the institution is proud of its past and its place in the pages of Missouri history. There are now three books that have been written about the history of the

college. Along with these volumes, there is a large repository of photographs, departmental records, student publications and objects located here in the archives. In addition there is a wonderful collection of textiles that features wardrobe items from Jane Froman and other college alumnae. This page will feature items, textiles and photographs that highlight important dates and activities on campus. A sharing of this information will promote and provide interesting facts about the history of the college in a visually interesting way.
