The NAACP Aiken County Branch is proud to announce our 45th Annual Freedom Fundraising Campaign and 108th Branch Anniversary Celebration, and we invite you to partner with us in advancing equity, opportunity, and justice throughout our community.
The event will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the USC Aiken Convocation Center on the campus of University of South Carolina Aiken.
Our 2026 theme, “We The People,” reflects the powerful opening words of the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution, reminding us that meaningful progress begins with engaged citizens working together.
This year’s program will feature an inspiring keynote address by Bishop Eric J. Freeman, Ph.D., Founder and Senior Pastor of The Meeting Place Church of Greater Columbia. Through Dr. Freeman’s leadership, tens of millions of dollars have been directed to transform underutilized spaces and provide workforce training, health services, and empowerment programs. His community advocacy and voice reflect the urgency and importance of our theme.
