Lindsey Wilson University and the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department announced an agreement to expand education opportunities for employees of the county department.

The agreement, announced May 14 at the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, makes full-time and part-time employees of the sheriff’s department and their immediate family members eligible to receive scholarship opportunities through Lindsey Wilson.

Nearly 400 students from Adair County Middle School made a visit to the hill and we loved every minute of it!

During their visit, students explored academic majors through bingo with Career Services and First-Year Experience, attended an admissions and college prep session, enjoyed outdoor recreation activities and toured campus with our student tour guides.

The Lindsey Wilson University business program continues to gain national recognition. ⚔️

Three teams of LWU students earned 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishes in CapSource Live Case Competition, competing against more than 40 teams from colleges and universities across the country.

Students developed consulting-style proposals exploring how AI and point-of-care ultrasound technology could improve maternal healthcare outcomes in underserved communities throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

The finalist teams then presented their solutions virtually to the Inteleos Foundation, an organization dedicated to expanding access to ultrasound technology and preventative care worldwide.

At LWU, students gain more than classroom knowledge. They gain real-world experience that prepares them for life after college.

Lindsey Wilson University and Somerset Community College have partnered to create a seamless pathway for nursing students to continue their education and earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Through this new concurrent enrollment agreement, SCC nursing students in their final ADN semester can begin coursework at Lindsey Wilson University while finishing their associate degree, helping them transition directly into Lindsey Wilson’s fully online RN to BSN program.

The program is designed with working nurses in mind, offering flexible online coursework, experienced nursing faculty and financial aid opportunities for qualifying students. ⚔️🩺
