Theta Tau - Zeta Delta Welcome to the official page of the University of South Carolina's chapter of Theta Tau! Over 28,000 have been initiated over the years.

Theta Tau has become the oldest and largest Fraternity for Engineers, with chapters across the country, and members around the world. Founded at the University of Minnesota in 1904, Theta Tau is the largest (as well as the oldest) professional fraternity in the field of engineering. With emphasis on quality and a strong fraternal bond, the Fraternity has chapters only at ABET accredited schools, a

nd limits to seventy-five the number of student members in any one of its chapters across the nation. Theta Tau follows carefully a program in the selection and development of its members that stresses the importance of high professional ethics and exemplary practices. Within each chapter, the Fraternity stimulates professional activity and social compatibility; provides a framework for group participation in campus, community, engineering, and fraternity affairs; and promotes lasting friendships - a lifetime of brotherhood in an engineering environment.

LSM is a fun-filled day of hands-on, interactive science experiments for students in grades K–12.

This year’s event will feature four themed rooms—Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Space—plus an outdoor courtyard. Each space will offer exciting experiments and activities centered around its theme.

Kids will have the opportunity to explore STEM in a fun, engaging way-and even take home some cool creations!

Join us on March 29th from 10 AM to 2 PM at 301 Main St, Columbia, SC 29208.

This Saturday from 10-2 pm is our free and fun STEM outreach event hosted by the University of South Carolina's only professional co-ed engineering fraternity. Free admission & all are welcome! Come enjoy some cool science experiments like edible DNA, marshmallow launchers, and wind power cars with our brothers. Root for your favorite team in the Pumpkin Chunkin' trebuchet competition! We hope to see you there!
