Compass Music Camp Navigating the musical journey. Compass Inc offers various programing designed to navigate the musical journey.

Compass has hosted the annual Compass Music Camp since 2012, and offered its first Songwriting Camp in the spring of 2022 at its first bricks and mortar building, located at 1107 University Ave. More camps and programming are planned to take place at the Compass Music Center. Compass Music Camp is a seven day program focused on giving mid-Missouri youth the opportunity to learn, create, and perf

orm. Camp participants will have instrument lessons, theory class, history class, sound/recording workshop, art workshop, social media workshop, song writing class, screen printing, and band rehearsal. Each day the campers will have a private concert from a local or touring artist. This program is designed for campers to experience the joy of writing and playing music from musicians in our community. We accept 20- 30 campers (8-18 years of age) and put them into 5 or 6 bands.

🧭🎶🎸 WOW!! We are so proud of these young musicians. We had a great crowd for our showcase at The Blue Note last night. Thank you to everyone who came out to support. As you can tell, the kids had a GREAT time. Camp dates for next year are July 10-16, 2023. Mark your calendars!
