We're grateful for opportunities to collaborate with dedicated animal care teams like those at the Saint Louis Zoo. Our dentistry experts recently provided specialized care for Kallu, ultimately saving his canine tooth.🐻‍❄️🦷

Meet veterinary student Brent Glenzy and his spotted sidekick, Enzo! A 14-week-old Dalmatian with a playful, curious spirit (and just a hint of stubbornness).

Enzo is always ready for his next adventure, whether that’s a drive-thru run or tagging along for pick-up orders. He’s never met a stranger and treats everyone like a best friend.

Smart, spirited and full of personality, Enzo’s favorite pastime is tearing through leaf piles once the zoomies hit — diving headfirst into every pile in sight.

Before their neighbors knew Jack and Quenadyne Sterrett by name, they knew Maggie Moo. Twice a day, the long-haired Alsatian German shepherd rode alongside Jack in his golf cart, turning heads and drawing smiles everywhere she went.

Loyal, loving and always ready to learn, Nash has been Megan’s biggest blessing through vet school — patiently listening to her lessons and greeting her with the warmest welcome after long days.

What happens when computer science and veterinary medicine come together?

At the recent Claude Builder Club Hackathon, Mizzou Engineering graduate students Ajay Kumar and Arwa Mashaqbeh collaborated with equine faculty member Dr. Kevin Keegan on AI-focused tools designed to support veterinary learning and equine lameness evaluation workflows. The interdisciplinary project earned first place at the student-led competition.

It’s a great example of how collaboration across disciplines can spark new ideas with real-world potential.
