Introducing our of February, Aubrey Ellisor and Blakely Hendrix of the Rho class! Hear about their friendship below ⬇️

“I met Blakely during recruitment week! I definitely know it was Gods plan to bring this sweet girl into my life. SAO brought us together and for that I will forever be thankful. She inspires me, teaches me, and will forever be my best friend.”
- Aubrey, Rho Class

“Aubrey and I instantly became friends after connecting through our SAO new member classes and we have been inseparable ever since. Aubrey is someone I can always count on whether it be for a laugh, to cheer me on, or to even just sit and talk for hours. There is never a dull moment when we are together. I am so thankful for Sigma Alpha Omega for giving me not only a sister but a lifelong best friend.”
- Blakely, Rho Class

This , Lauren LaRosa, of the Omicron class, shared why she joined SAO!

“I chose SAO because I wanted a Christ-centered community and a way to get more involved on campus! Upon attending recruitment, I realized how much of a sisterhood SAO was. All of the girls were so friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they truly loved one another. I knew this was where I needed to be, and I'm so glad I found this wonderful sisterhood!”

✨Sister Spotlight✨ Our president, Kaylee Williams, spent part of her Christmas break on a mission trip in Peru, a place that is very close to her heart. God is using her in amazing ways to do wonderful things for these kids! Hear about her experience below👇🏼

“This December, I had the privilege of serving on a second mission trip to Iquitos, Peru, with Go Love - a non-profit organization that provides a home, education, and much-needed love to abandoned children. In Iquitos, 1 in 12 children experience the trauma of abandonment. Go Love currently runs two homes and cares for a total of 17 children, ranging in age from 5 months to 12 years old. The mission team and I brought Christmas gifts from the States and helped to organize and wrap them for all of the kids. We also brought Christmas crafts, such as gingerbread houses, Christmas cookies, and ornaments. Watching the sweet kiddos experience these seemingly traditional Christmas activities - many for the first time - was truly humbling and joyful. In addition to fostering these meaningful relationships with the Go Love kids, we also spent time working to clean a new house that will be utilized by Go Love next year.

Overall, this mission trip was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I was able to dive deep into fellowship with the kids and my team, simply watching God do His amazing work. It is evident that every person, no matter their age, longs to find purpose and to be loved. At Go Love’s homes, Jesus’ pure and unfailing love for His children is evident. Through audacious faith, God works through ordinary people to fulfill His extraordinary purpose for our lives. The joy exuding from the children is a beautiful depiction of His provision and how He turns mourning to dancing.

I am forever grateful to SAO for supporting this passion of mine and making an impact on children in Peru. A piece of my heart will always remain in Iquitos with its wonderful people, and I hope to return very soon!”

This , we heard from Ansley Baker, from the Rho class, on why she joined this beautiful sorority!

“I chose SAO because I wanted to find a strong community of like minded girls as a freshman last year! I truly was looking for a group of girls that would be my best friends and sisters all in one. Gals who I could run to with any and everything and not be judged! I found just that with SAO an hope every girl can find that here. Dove love!!!🕊💗”

Ansley is also in training to be our next J Board chair!
