A single professor can change everything. That was the experience for Richard Steinberg who was sent on a life-changing trajectory by the late Dr. John Kuhlman.

Now, Steinberg is paying it forward — with a $1 million fellowship in Kuhlman's honor — to educate the next generation of economics leaders.

Science on Tap featuring Duan Zhang
When: Sept 18th @ 6pm
Where: I-Tap

What is Science on Tap?
It is a monthly event where early career researchers (graduate students and post-docs) present the latest scientific developments in their research to the public and peers at a local bar in downtown Columbia. Science on Tap is one event that is part of the broader Science on Wheels programming that focuses on stimulating public engagement in science, while offering early career STEM researchers an opportunity to improve their communication skills. This important interface allows community members to interact with and learn more about the research happening in their hometown. If you are interested in the events and would like to know more, or want to present, please email Sarah Fitzsimmons at [email protected]
