What a wonderful evening at the LTSS Alumni Dinner during the Southeastern Synod Assembly in Columbus, Georgia!

It was a joy to gather with you, sharing stories, laughter, and the deep connections that make the LTSS community so special. Your presence, support, and continued engagement are what keep this alumni network vibrant and meaningful. Thank you to everyone who took time out of a busy assembly schedule to be with us tonight.

We are grateful for each of you and the ways you continue to live out your call in the world.

What a day to celebrate at the Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary!

Alumni Day was filled with joy, connection, and gratitude as friends gathered from near and far to remember, reconnect, and look ahead with hope. Even more exciting—we exceeded our goal of 100 donors for the Day of Giving!

Thank you to every alum, friend, and supporter who showed up, gave generously, and continues to invest in the formation of future leaders for the Church. Your support makes a lasting difference.

Here’s to the strength of this community and the future we’re building together.

LTSS’s sixth annual Day of Giving set records with 190 donors and $24,820 raised, celebrating community, scholarships and support for future ministry leaders.

As our Alumni Day is upon us, we celebrate the installation of the beautiful mock-up of the Christ Chapel Pentecost window in the Russell House, home of LTSS on the Lenoir-Rhyne campus. A symbol of the Spirit’s movement—of wind, flame, and the gathering of God’s people—it now shines as a daily reminder of the Church’s calling to go out into the world with courage, faith, and hope.

May all who pass through this space be inspired by the Spirit’s presence and sent forth to serve.

A beloved symbol of LTSS’s history has arrived in Hickory. A scale model of the Pentecost Window now stands in Russell House.
