Congratulations to the Capital University Law School graduates who learned this morning that they passed the Ohio Bar Exam that was administered in October. What a great accomplishment! This was an unprecedented year for the bar exam due to the pandemic, repeated postponements, and a remote, online exam. Capital University Law School's pass rate was third in the state (out of 9 law schools) among first-time exam takers!

Interim President Kaufman has announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and unfavorable virus trends in Ohio, all Fall Semester classes at the Law School, Trinity Lutheran Seminary, and the Bexley campus will be delivered remotely – fully online – until at least September 21. Classes will begin as scheduled on August 24. Additional details, including class scheduling information, will be provided to students shortly.

Following a nationwide search, Capital University is pleased to announce the appointment of Reynaldo Anaya Valencia as dean of the Law School. Since June 2015, he has served as associate dean for Finance and Administration, and as professor of Law, at University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law.
