We are proud to announce Dr. Adam Potter as visiting Professor and Director of Choral Activities in the Conservatory of Music at Capital University.

This exciting new leadership appointment marks the continuation of Capital’s rich tradition of excellence in choral music, performance, and music education. As Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Potter will help shape the next generation of musicians and vocalists through inspiring instruction, artistic collaboration, and innovative performance opportunities within the Conservatory of Music.

Widely recognized for cultivating choral musicianship that is both technically rigorous and profoundly human, Dr. Potter’s approach emphasizes independent musical skills, confident vocal technique, and a deep sense of ownership over artistry.

Welcome to the Comet family, Dr. Potter. 💜🎶

Thank you to David Brown for bringing so much vibrance, joy, and heart to his 2026 commencement keynotes address. 🎓🎶

During his speech, David took a moment to connect the Capital community with the mission behind his work through a shared moment of music.

As the founder of Harmony Project, David has dedicated his work to building connection and community through music, proving that a different kind of choir can help create a different kind of world. His message of belonging, empathy, and human connection left our graduates inspired as they prepare to lead with purpose beyond Capital. Thank you for helping make this milestone moment unforgettable for our students!
