The Columbus Asian Festival
Ohio State Optometry’s National Optometry Student Association (NOSA) is organizing a volunteer event as part of the Columbus Asian Festival on May 23 and 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Franklin Park. Bring the whole family and enjoy a day of activities and great food at the festival! In past years, NOSA volunteers have helped more than 100 patients over the course of the weekend. Special Olympics Summer Games
Healthy Athletes screenings are on Saturday, May 30 at Ohio State’s Cunz Hall (1841 Neil Ave.), near the RPAC. The event is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but volunteers can sign up for short shifts that work well with busy schedules. Liz Cockerill (OD’09) is the Clinic Director for the Opening Eyes booth. Please email Dr. Cockerill at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering. You may earn non-COPE continuing education hours for volunteering.
