For the fourth consecutive year, Fisher's undergraduate business program has earned a top 10 ranking among public universities in the U.S. News & World Report 2026-27 rankings. Four of our undergraduate specialties also ranked among the nation's top 10.

This recognition reflects the strength of our students, faculty, staff and alumni community, as well as Fisher's continued commitment to academic excellence, innovation and career outcomes.

These rankings also build on another milestone for The Ohio State University, which ranked No. 14 among public universities nationally.

For more than four decades, David Jacobs (BSBA ’84) has remained deeply connected to Fisher, giving back as an alumnus, leader, mentor, Dean’s Advisory Council member and champion for student success.

We were proud to celebrate Dave and Brenda Jacobs, honor their extraordinary philanthropy, and officially dedicate the Jacobs Family Business Lab, a transformative new space that will help prepare future generations of Business Buckeyes for careers in finance, technology and beyond.

From expanding access to Bloomberg terminals and real-time market data to creating a hands-on environment for experiential learning, the lab reflects Dave’s belief in the power of education and his commitment to helping students discover and pursue their own paths to success.

His legacy at Fisher is not only the space that bears his family's name, but the opportunities it will create for students for years to come.

From launching her own baking business in high school to gaining hands-on experience in the hospitality industry, Hannaniah Matthews is turning her passion into a career.

For the fourth-year Fisher student, a love of baking sparked an entrepreneurial journey that ultimately led her to discover the power of operations and supply chain management.

This summer, Hannaniah worked with Cameron Mitchell Premier Events, where she gained a behind-the-scenes look at how logistics, teamwork, efficiency and customer service come together to create exceptional guest experiences.

Her story is a great example of how Fisher students connect classroom learning with real-world impact.
