Columbus College of Art & Design is excited to host a full evening of events during Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC) on Saturday, September 20.

5:30–6:00 PM | Manga Gallery Opening
Be among the first to see MANGA, マンガ, 漫画: Beyond the Mainstream, a new exhibition of original and rare manga art. Enjoy complimentary food, including fresh onigiri from Onigiri Musume, and meet visiting MINT (Manga International Network Team) artists Marco Kohinata and Keita Katsushika.

6:00–7:00 PM | MINT Manga Panel Talk
Hear from Kohinata, Katsushika, and MINT/JPIC coordinator Adam Jimenez as they discuss the debut of this landmark exhibit in the U.S.

8:00–10:00 PM | Special Guest Speaker: Jhonen Vasquez
Creator of the cult-classic Nickelodeon series Invader Zim and the influential comic Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Jhonen will share insights into his creative process, career journey, and the evolving world of comics and animation. A reception will follow.

All events take place in the Joseph V. Canzani Center & Auditorium at CCAD. Free and open to the public.
