Phi Delta Epsilon OH Zeta - Ohio State University Ohio Zeta chapter of Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity at The Ohio State University.

Phi Delta Epsilon is a community for students who all share a common goal of becoming physicians. The OH Zeta chapter at Ohio State provides volunteering opportunities, fundraises for Children's Miracle Network, holds blood drives, connects underclassmen with upperclassmen who serve as mentors, fosters study groups, and organizes many social events. We also support each other on the journey to medical school in order to create physicians with integrity.

This March, our members partnered with College Mentors for Kids! During the event, we taught the kids all about anatomy and how the bodies organs function to help keep us alive. We also gave them a demonstration of how to bandage up a broken bone and let the kids race to see who could heal their mentors broken bone the fastest. Finally, we showed the kids how a stethoscope and blood pressure cuff functions and let them give each other cardiac and breathing exams and ensure everyone was in tip top health. We’re so grateful for the opportunity!

This past weekend, we had our “Senior Sendoff” chapter. Every senior had the chance to speak and also to have others speak for them. It was so heartwarming hearing all of their stories and memories!
