Meet the Chapters and Philanthropy round were a success! Our chapter was able to inform potential new members about the opportunities Pi Beta Phi and the Ohio State Greek community have to share and about our amazing philanthropy, Read> Lead> Achieve. We are so grateful for our amazing Vice President of Membership Hannah Topliff and can’t wait to reveal what our chapter has in store for next weekend!

As we are getting ready to head back to Columbus, we want to congratulate our lovely Jacqui Levine who graduated last semester! Here are a few words she would like to share with our chapter: ā€œStarting at Ohio State my freshman year, I never could have imagined feeling the way I do right now. The bittersweet sense of accomplishment while the best chapter of my life coming to a close. The incredible friends I’ve made and the memories we’ve shared, the lessons I’ve learned both in and out of the classroom, the opportunities for growth, all of it has made my time at OSU the best three and a half years of my life. OSU and Pi Beta Phi, who have both given me more than I could’ve imagined, thank you.ā€
Jacqui Anne, Ohio Beta misses you already! We are looking forward to all of the amazing things that you will accomplish!

Over the last several weeks, troubling events have caused concern for many of our members. With more than 20,000 undergraduate Pi Phis headed back to campus, we challenge you to think about the power of your Pi Beta Phi membership. As Pi Phi sets the course for the next 150 years, we encourage you to have open dialogue and face these tough social and political conversations, including diversity and inclusion. Hatred and racism have no place in Pi Beta Phi, nor on our college campuses or communities in which we live. We want our members to have an experience where they have the opportunity to engage with people who are different from themselves in a way that is respectful and full of integrity. We believe in you. We believe fostering a culture of inclusion results in a chapter experience that prepares our members to be confident leaders.

Founders day! Here are our seniors with our house mom Jean and Ohio Beta alumni, Jane O'Shaughnessy, with her Big Sis as she recieved her Golden Arrow, marking her 50th year as a Pi Phi! ā¤

On April 28, 1867, 12 women at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois, had the vision to form the first secret society for women, Pi Beta Phi. At a time when only five state universities were coed, these courageous women set the stage for a thriving organization that continues to enrich the lives of many during their collegiate years and beyond.

Founders’ Day is a time to reflect on why we joined Pi Beta Phi and what the Fraternity means to us. By being lifelong committed members of Pi Beta Phi, we not only honor our founders but all Pi Phis who have given back to the Fraternity. Yay 150 years!!!
