It’s been great to explore the impact of Speech-Language Pathology at The W during National Speech-Language-Hearing Month.

Meet Mabry Keyes, a first-year speech-language pathology graduate student from the Class of 2027, who says, “Speech-language pathology is the perfect combination of my love for voice and my desire to serve others. I once imagined a future on Broadway, but discovering this field showed me how powerful the voice can be in a different way. Growing as a clinician and building meaningful connections with clients has been my greatest accomplishment. With the support of dedicated professors and my family’s encouragement, I feel prepared to one day serve infants and families in the neonatal intensive care unit where I plan to practice.”

Help students like Mabry succeed in Speech Language Pathology at The W by supporting scholarships and student resources. Make your gift at longblueline.muw.edu/development/speech-language-pathology.

During National Speech-Language-Hearing Month join us as we explore the impact of Speech-Language Pathology at The W and the students who are transforming their passion into purpose.

Meet Lucy West, a recent graduate from the Class of 2026, who says, “As a first-generation college student, I’ve found a community at The W that truly believes in student success and has helped me grow academically and individually. Through leadership opportunities and hands-on experiences, I’ve been able to turn my passion into purpose and prepare for a career as a speech-language pathologist where I can help others feel seen, heard, and valued. I look forward to pursuing my master’s degree this fall at The W where I have always felt at home.”

Invest in the future of Speech Language Pathology at The W by supporting scholarships and student opportunities. Make your gift at longblueline.muw.edu/development/speech-language-pathology.

Meet Dylan Moore, a second-year speech-language pathology graduate student in the Class of 2026.

Dylan says, “As a second-year graduate student, The W’s speech-language pathology program has pushed me to grow into a resilient, well-rounded professional. I am inspired by my mom, a W graduate, and her work as a speech-language pathologist. Seeing her compassion, advocacy, and dedication to helping others communicate has showed me the powerful impact of this career. Through challenging coursework and diverse clinical placements, I’ve strengthened my decision-making skills and gained confidence as I prepare for my clinical fellowship and future.

Support Speech Language Pathology students at The W and help provide scholarships, resources, and opportunities. Make your gift at longblueline.muw.edu/development/speech-language-pathology.
