ALL ARE WELCOME to join us from 9am-1pm today in the ballroom (4th floor) of the Workforce Development Building at Columbus State Community College to learn from faculty, staff, and community partners about the community service being done in our classrooms! ❤️

This year's theme is Recognizing, Removing, and Reconciling Barriers in Service-Learning.

Our keynote speaker will be Donte Woods-Spikes, a Columbus State graduate and past Service-Learning student. Donte is known throughout Columbus for various forms of work such as professional speaking, community work, and video documentation. Donte's overall goal is to educate and connect the world beyond perceptions and stereotypes with authentic experiences through storytelling and documentation.

Also, hear from Columbus State Service-Learning faculty, students, and community partners on how this experiential learning method fosters civic engagement and student success through meaningful service to the community.

Light breakfast options will be available. Check-in begins at 8:30 am. Faculty, staff, students, and community members are all welcome to attend! 🤗
