CSCC Global & International Student Services ISS provides advice, resources, and assistance on federal immigration regulations for international students and cross-cultural issues relating to study.

Columbus State is a dynamic institution of learning with a diverse student population. We host nearly 2,500 non-immigrant and international students from more than 100 countries. All professionally trained Staff at ISS are your go-to resource when it comes to federal immigration regulation to provide knowledge and help you understand benefits and restrictions. Also, we offer new student orientation, support services and activities to help your transition to college go as smooth as possible.

We’re excited to announce our leadership of the new nationwide community college IT workforce education incubator, the National IT Innovation Center (NITIC). Awarded a $7.5 million startup grant by the National Science Foundation, NITIC will keep us on the leading edge of IT skills instruction while creating collaboration among peer institutions in IT career-building excellence.

Her advice for students "Price may seem like the obvious answer, but you’ll be thanking your younger self for years to come if you aren’t burdened by astronomical student loans. Also, what programs are available to help you get involved across campus? (clubs, sports, jobs, networking opportunities, etc.) You’ll want to branch out of your comfort zone because that’s when the real magic (AKA personal & professional growth) happens!"
