This is friendly reminder that the application for your CDW Scholarships are due Wednesday February 1st, 2017. Please note that the CDW Scholarship is a scholarship that you must apply for every year! The due date for the FAFSA application is also Wednesday February 1st, 2017.

Special Olympics dance team members wanted
Three-time world dance champion and creator of LaBlast Fitness, Louis van Amstel will be a judge and ambassador for the 2017 Special Olympics World Games in Graz, Austria. Local LaBlast instructor, Rebecca Chacko, has been invited to form a unified dance team to participate in the Special Olympics World Dance Contest on Wednesday (3/22) at the Special Olympics World Winter Games. If you are interested in joining the dance team, please contact Rebecca by Friday (9/23). Rehearsals begin in October.

Please see the attached registration for the next CFAES Gender Initiative offering on October 3 from 2 to 4 PM– a workshop on “Effective Interviewing Skills:Techniques for Successful Interviewing,” facilitated by Dr. Ana C. Berrios, Associate Director of Career Counseling and Support Services at The Ohio State University. This workshop will be an excellent professional (and personal) development opportunity. This will be a free event offered in both Columbus and Wooster.

Shelly is a current CDW Scholar and she will graduate with her Master's Degree in Workforce Development from the college of Education and Human Ecology in December. Shelly shared her AMAZING story with some of our scholars at the CDW Reception.
