Columbus State invites all accounting majors to the Fraud Career Day at Mercer University in Atlanta on November 28th. We will pay for the students' registration and provide a bus to Atlanta. Last year it was a great success. We need to know by next Wednesday, September 12th if you will attend. The bus will leave at 6:00 am as the meeting starts at 8:30 am at Mercer in Atlanta. If you do sign up to attend, please make sure you attend as we are paying in advance for you.
The Georgia Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is offering accounting students a vast career and networking opportunities through numerous federal/state agencies and the private sector by way of our 2018 Fraud Investigations Career Day. We have had tremendous success in the last several years with this event with students from various schools and majors attending.
This year however, what makes our event so different is that in addition to our government and private sector panels, as well as the various career workshops that will be offered, we also will be offering:
10 Career Coaches on site to review resumes
A special bonus workshop on the Star Approach to job interviewing
Plus a behind the scenes demonstration by the FBI polygraph team of what an FBI Agent applicant experiences when undergoing the pre-employment polygraph screening process
