Whatever the goal is in business and leadership, students achieve it at Capital University.

Capital’s SOML is committed to the belief that the best preparation for a career in business is obtained by combining extensive study in the liberal arts with a major emphasizing the development of quantitative, analytical and human relations skills. High-impact classroom experiences include working with live clients, participating in a case competition, or even performing as a Chief Financial Off

icer in a simulated company. All SOML students take a professional development course where the final exam is a mock interview. Faculty work with each student to make sure that they have the experiences and knowledge they need to be ready for the next step. Our majors include Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, and Financial Accounting.

Delta Sigma Pi brought career prep to life on February 3rd with their Resume & LinkedIn Workshop for Capital University business students 💼✨ Students sharpened their resumes, polished their LinkedIn profiles, and prepped for interviews with hands-on support from Delta Sigma Pi members.
One of the highlights of the event was professional headshots with Ava Lauren, giving students the chance to level up their personal brand and professional image. From real feedback to real results, this workshop helped students take confident steps toward their future careers!

This past weekend we had four incredible students representing Capital University at the Northeast Intercollegiate Sales Competition. With two students making it to round three, this experience provided amazing opportunities to grow as a young professional!

Meet Thomas Baron, a third-year accounting major who’s making the most of his time at Capital!

Thomas is involved in Delta Sigma Pi and Futbol Fanatics while working as a banker at Chase Bank.

When asked why he chose Capital, Thomas shared:
“I chose Capital because of its location near Columbus, and because during my campus tours, it seemed more like a community of people than just a college.”
