For the second year in a row, we have one of our recent graduates being honored by Phi Kappa Phi national with a fellowship!

Katherine Hinzman, a double major in both History and Art History, will be receiving funding support from PKP to attend Oxford this fall and being her program of study for a master's degree in Art History!

Congratulations are in order for Columbus State University's own Ford Fourqurean on winning a Marcus L. Urann Fellow as he now moves on to Stony Brook University from Columbus State University to pursue a Master of Music in Performance!

Ford was chosen along with 5 PKP members for a pool that branches across the nation! Thanks for representing the best of our chapter Ford!

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi currently awards fifty-one Fellowships of $5,000 each and six at $15,000 each to members entering the first year of graduate or professional study. Each active Phi Kappa Phi chapter may select one candidate from among its local applicants to compete for the Society…

Congratulations are in order for many of our Chapter's Active Members after yesterday's Honors Convocation!

Ford J. Fourqurean was recognized for his many academic pursuits, culminating with his earning the Faculty Cup!

Dr. Kevin Burgess earned the CSU Research and Scholarship award yesterday, and Dr. Chris McCollough was recognized as a finalist for the CSU Faculty Service Award in only his second year here at CSU!

Our own student VP, Elaine Hoffmeister was also recognized as the top student in English Literature!

Okay, ready and willing contributors. Our donation bin has been placed somewhere in the front office of CIE. I delivered it yesterday and they said they would choose a permanent location for it. Please begin to bring books in for us to fill our bookshelves with!

Hello Phi Kappa Phi! Habitat has gotten back with me and let me know that there is a house whose close is in November and the family has three children, two boys, one girl ages 13, 8 and 5. I will get together with our president soon to find out about the whereabouts and obtaining of a bookshelf so keep an eye out for current books you feel will be beneficial to young minds! - Your PKP VP, Emily
