At ACCAD, Design MFA Candidate and Graduate Research Associate Yeoleum Choi is redefining the technical blueprint for educational media.
In her project *Layers In History*, Choi investigates how "visual charm" can lower cognitive barriers to complex science. Her innovation lies in a hybrid workflow: utilizing generative AI as a conceptual compass for organic textures, then translating that grit into a high-precision 3D environment via traditional matte painting.
The result? A subterranean field trip where deep geological memory becomes a tactile, lived experience.
