Celebrate Homecoming at The W and hear the story of esteemed alumna Dr. Doris A. Taylor at this year's annual Nell Peel Wolfe Lecture Series.

Building Heart in 2026: What I Learned at The W and Beyond
When: Thursday, April 9 @ 6 p.m.
Where: Nissan Auditorium, Parkinson Hall

Dr. Taylor is credited with scientific breakthroughs related to regenerative medicine and stem cell research, and she is the Founder and CEO of Organamet Bio Inc. TIME Magazine named her one of the "100 most influential people in the world," and her stem cell research was recognized by the American Heart Association as one of the "Top 10 Research Advances."

Don't miss the 2026 Martha Swain Lecture, which this year combines Women's History Month with America 250 celebrations marking the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Dr. Jacqueline Beatty, Associate Professor of History at York College of Pennsylvania, will share her research on women’s claims for rights spanning 70 years before and after the American Revolution. This research, based on women’s petitions for reprieve, economic support, divorce, and manumission, forms the basis for her book, In Dependence.

Weary of the coming six weeks of winter? Warm yourself with a little piano music!

The Spring 2026 Gordy Honors Forum Series begins this Thursday with performances by the W's own Drs. Julia Mortyakova and Valentin Bogdan.

The concert begins at 6 p.m. on February 5th and will take place in Poindexter Hall's Kossen Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.
