Capital University Women's Empowerment Alliance This organization will generate awareness of campus and community resources for survivors, perpetrators, and allies of relationship abuse and sexual assault.

The purpose of Rise Above Injustice is to break down the gender roles and stereotypes of both men and women, destigmatize domestic violence and sexual assault, and promote gender equality. This will be done by educating students about warning signs of the different types of relationship abuse, providing insight on how to maintain healthy relationships, and holding a variety of discussions on gende

r and the expectations put on by society. Rise Above will cultivate a safe environment for participants to connect, be challenged, and grow. Volunteering, hosting events and programs, and fundraising will occur to fulfill these purposes.

Hi friends, we are offically getting this organization up and running once again. We have created an instagram if you would like to follow us there too, (Capital_wea). My name is Evelyn Napier and I will be the president this year, I am so excited to get this organization running once again.
