Alumna Kathy Lloyd, who completed most of her coursework at The Ohio State University at Newark, says both roles require discipline, empathy and a strong work ethic. She credits her education with helping shape her path and prepare her for two demanding commitments.
“If I did one or the other exclusively, I think there would be a void in my life,” she said. “Some of the joy or spark would diminish from the remaining task.”
