Excited to share opportunities that Cloud County Community College has to offer for future energy workers.

Yesterday, we received an invite to visit Cloud County Community College new Technical Education and Innovation Campus where we learned about their drone and renewable energy program. Students get amazing life skills such as welding; electronic theory; soldering; building and flying drones; building, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting infrastructure such as wind farms, solar panels, and bridges. They are working on a proof of concept drone delivery program. What an amazing state educational resource.

It was a great visit

We are grateful to the North Central Regional Planning Commission for their donation of two new drones to our Renewable Energy Department. NCRPC's Executive Director, Deb Ohlde, is pictured with RE students Asher Zimmer and Brodie Schroeder and RE Department Chair Monte Poersch.
