Upward Bound Hgtc This pre-college federally funded program serves 65 eligible high school students from Loris, Green Sea Floyds, and Carvers Bay High Schools.

To be successful tomorrow, the current generation must earn a degree or certificate today. Students need to graduate from high school with a realistic plan for their futures. The process is often difficult and discouraging, which can lead to students feeling powerless and frustrated. Upward Bound can help students gain access to opportunities after high school. We understand that every student fac

Upward Bound HGTC joins the Carvers Bay family in mourning the loss of our beloved student, Christian Washington: a kind soul, a leader, a student athlete. Please join us in supporting the Bears and his family in this unthinkable loss.

Carvers Bay Early College and Career High School mourns the loss of Christian Washington, a bright and talented soul gone too soon. Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, classmates, and all who knew and loved him.
May his memory live on in the hearts of those he touched.
