Meet Isak W. Visser, a Hybrid MBA student expected to graduate in May 2027, who is balancing graduate school with leadership, service, and family life. As a Captain in the U.S. Army and ROTC Instructor at Coastal Carolina University, Isak brings years of leadership experience into the classroom while building an even stronger foundation in business strategy, finance, and operations. His goal? To continue growing as a leader, strengthen organizations from the inside out, and create future opportunities for both his career and family.
For Isak, Coastal’s MBA program stood out because of its real-world focus and practical application. He shares that his experience has been both challenging and meaningful, pushing him to think more analytically about leadership, markets, and decision-making. One of his favorite courses so far has been Managerial Responsibility and the Law with Dr. McAllister, where legal and ethical leadership concepts connect directly to real organizational decisions. Outside of the classroom, Isak stays active through running, strength training, and mentoring future Army officers through ROTC.
Driven by growth, discipline, and service, Isak is working toward completing his MBA, earning his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and continuing to build a career centered on leadership, mentorship, and high-performing teams. We’re proud to spotlight the dedication and impact he brings to the CCU graduate community.
