One of our doctoral students, Kathryn Armstrong, is collecting data for her dissertation. Please take a few minutes and help her out by participating in her study. Thanks!
--------------------------------------------------
My name is Kathryn Armstrong, a Counseling Psychology Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Central Arkansas. I am completing my dissertation project entitled “The Relationship between Racial Attitudes, Educational Attitudes, Multicultural Case Conceptualization, and Other Factors” (IRB #25-155). The study's purpose is to explore how clinicians’ racial attitudes, educational attitudes, and other factors, such as empathy, relate to how psychologists consider client factors in case conceptualization. To qualify to participate, you must be:

-Be 18 years of older
-Possess English language proficiency
-Be currently enrolled or a degree holder from a graduate program that specializes in mental health services (i.e., social work, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, etc.)
-Have completed at least one semester or equivalent of practicum or clinical work

Participation would require approximately 30 minutes of your time to complete an online survey. Your participation could help researchers better understand how clinicians' views of race, education level, and sense of empathy affect clinical skills with diverse clients.

If you are interested in participating, please use this link: https://ucachbs.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_25nSKPm0eFPpI4m
Participation is completely voluntary, and responses are anonymous.
For more information, please contact Kathryn Armstrong, M.S. at [email protected] or Christina Jeffrey, Ph.D. at [email protected].
