Tennessee Tech’s ITAC team was recently awarded funding from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) to help select Tennessee counties enhance their communities through energy efficiency audits of county-owned buildings. These commercial audits are a necessary first step for the counties applying for funding to upgrade their building systems and reduce utility costs. ITAC faculty and staff Ethan Languri, Mazen Hussein, Patrick Swiecichowski, and Michelle Davis will be working with the following counties on this exciting opportunity: Bledsoe, Cocke, Grundy, Hardeman, Haywood, Lake, Perry, and Scott.

Our amazing Baja and Formula SAE teams totally "sleighed" the annual Lighting of the Quad event tonight! They braved the frosty air, and their holiday cheer was warmer than the hot cocoa! The teams truly embodied the spirit of the season, showcasing their incredible vehicles while spreading joy to children of all ages. It was a festive, fun-filled evening that made memories as bright as the dazzling lights illuminating the Quad. Talk about making spirits bright!
