TTU Acct students are on their trip to London U.K. The trip got off to a rocky start with their flight from NY to London being cancelled on Friday night, forcing a stay in NYC on Saturday. However, ever the flexible travelers, they took the opportunity to visit sites like Wall Street and Manhattan. Landing in London on Sunday morning, the group has already visited Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, and Lloyd's of London!

November is the Tennessee Society of CPA's Accounting Opportunities Month (AOM), where professionals go to local schools to promote accounting as a career option. This year, I again took four great accounting majors (Koryn Howard, Augusta Long, Ethan McWilliams, and Ian Prater) to Cookeville High School. They did a great job representing Tennessee Tech and the accounting profession. The students in the audience asked great questions, and we all had a good time. Hopefully, we will see some of these students become future CPAs!
