After completing the six-mile ruck, our MS3 (junior year) Cadets completed a stress event, testing their ability to perform cognitive tasks as well as accurately throwing grenades while tired. During Cadet Summer Training between the MS3 and MS4 years, Cadets will be subjected to long days covering long distances and be expected to make sound decisions while tired, sore, and sweaty. Our exercise after completing the 6-mile ruck gives cadets a good litmus test to see how their cardio affects their decision-making and ability to complete essential tasks.

Our Cadet of the month for November is Cadet Brown.

Cadet Brown has been an example of fitness standards for the battalion. And has been highly disciplined both at PT and in leadership at labs. While Cadet Brown is still new to the program, he has been flexible and adapted quickly in his first semester, rapidly adapting to a role as a team leader and a member of our extracurricular clubs.

Congratulations to Cadet Brown
