The Nutrition and Dietetics program at TTU has exciting things on the horizon. We have applied for, and have received initial acceptance from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, to be a pilot program for the Future Education Model graduate program.

This new model of graduate education focuses on experiential learning and preparing graduate students for the registration exam for dietitians, and takes the place of the traditional dietetic internship.

We are currently writing a self-study report, and have a site visit with the Academy scheduled in February. If all goes well, they will grant us Candidacy for Accreditation following this visit, and we will be able to begin admitting students.

With that being said, we will need your help with this endeavor! Our students will still need at least 900 on-site supervised experiential learning hours. If you are interested in being a preceptor for our students, or would like to know more, please reach out to us at [email protected] or 931-372-3865.

We appreciate your support!
