For this semester’s FINAL edition of , we’d like to show off some of the amazing opportunities cadets have received over the years being a part of the ROTC program.

Pictured in the first two photos is a base visit to Andrews AFB that took place July 22, 1999. As you can see, cadets got to tour the flightline and and were able to see an F-16 up close. Flash forward 23 years and you can see it’s like time never changed. Det 155 cadets were given the opportunity to tour the flightline at Homestead ARB and were also able to see an F-16 up close.

Combat Dining-In 😎

This week as a culmination of our Battlefield Airman LLABs, Det 155 cadets went paint balling! Our cadets employed all the skills and tactics learned throughout the semester during various mission scenarios.

To end the morning, cadets then gathered for a breakfast social and heard from our guest of honor. Big thanks to Lt Col (ret) Zoller for speaking to us. Go Aces!

⭐️GMC Spotlight⭐️

“Hello!! My name is Jamila Rodriguez and I am from Saint Augustine, FL. I am a sophomore at Florida Atlantic University, and I am a Political Science major. I am very passionate about fitness and nutrition. I spend most of my time at the gym or at the beach with my friends. I am part of the Special Warfare Club, and this semester I was part of PT squadron.

Over the summer I went to Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, TX. I got to meet many officers and enlisted personnel. I also got to expand my knowledge on military life and what careers I want to pursue in the Air Force.

I can’t wait to see what is to come in my future and I hope to succeed in all my endeavors :)))!”

In an intense battle of executing tactical strategies Charlie and Alpha came out victorious in the two rounds of WARGAMING this past LLAB! The cadets were given various scenarios with a multitude of assets. They had to use their wits to achieve the goal of finding their adversaries bases and destroying them!
