The SBA is incredibly excited to announce Miami Law’s first ever Halloween Instagram Contest! There will be two opportunities for you to WIN FREE AIRPODS or AN APPLE WATCH, so be sure to follow us on Instagram () if you want to participate!

Attention Student Leaders,

Thanks to everyone who has submitted their organization's Google Form for the Student Org Fair e-Guide. As a friendly reminder, all organizations must submit their Google Form by tomorrow, August 5th. If you have not done so already, please fill out the Google Form on behalf of your organization here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6Xqa49r8avneqepb5ueTJxotWvIgqo7y51mgx5MEMdVblYQ/viewform.

In other news, our first ICC meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, August 27th during the lunch hour (12:10-1:40 pm). You may recall that attendance is mandatory at meetings, but if you cannot attend, please let me know and have your VP/another e-board member join. I will send out the Zoom link a few days before the meeting. If you will be on campus during this time and need somewhere to go, I have reserved Room E352 for your convenience. I'll keep you posted with any changes.

In the meantime, continue submitting your events to the Master Calendar. Please keep in mind that all events must be on the Master Calendar to be included in the Hearsay, and that the Hearsay gets finalized one week before it gets sent out to the student body. So, if you plan to have an event during the first week of school, it must be on the Master Calendar by next Sunday, August 9th. It is imperative that you provide a point of contact for your organization when creating the event so students can get the Zoom link. You may also consider reserving a room to accommodate those on campus, but just make a note of that intention for the Events Office.

Lastly, please remember that all Global Email requests must be sent to me at least 5-7 days before the event, or before the date that you'd like the email to be sent (but you may not request a specific time of day for the email to be sent). Each org is entitled to one Global Email per semester, but I may choose to send more at my discretion to help you guys out. Send your Global Email requests to [email protected].
