Anna Kate Mackle is the newly appointed lecturer in harp at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Mackle says she is excited to join the school’s faculty this fall. “It’s an excellent, innovative music school in a beautiful location, with many performance opportunities for harpists in orchestras and chamber ensembles, and I can’t wait to start working with the talented harp students there,” she says. “There are ample harp scholarships and teaching assistantships available, and I really look forward to seeing the harp program grow.” Mackle has served as principal harp of The Florida Orchestra (TFO) since 1999.
