Teszia Belly Dance Troupe Cornell University's Belly Dance Troupe!

Teszia Belly Dance Troupe was started at Cornell University in 1996 to provide an outlet for troupe members to join together in celebration of their collective interest in the oriental (belly) dance art form. We encourage troupe members to develop their dance skills by providing instruction and regular practices, as well as performance opportunities, all of which culminate in our annual Spring Shimmy dance show. We had a great time at the Sitara concert last night! 🤩💃🏻

If you want to see more of our dances, come to our Spring Shimmy concert next Friday at 7 pm in Barnes Hall Auditorium! No tickets required! All you need to do is register for the event on CampusGroups. We hope to see you there! 🎶💃🏻

It's that time of the year again! Teszia Belly Dance Troupe invites you to come to our auditions on Friday at 8:20p.m. in Helen Newman Dance Studio. No experience necessary! We welcome everyone with a genuine interest in learning to belly dance. We hope to see you soon. Come shimmy with us!

We just wanted to give a huge shoutout to everyone who came and supported our dancers at Spring Shimmy 2019! Our dancing reflects the passion, love, and overwhelming positivity and support we receive from each and every one of you. Thank you to everyone who attended the show and a HUGE thank you to the tech team and photography/videography team that helped us present and capture the show in the best possible way.
