Did you know that there are "34 hearts hidden at Texas SandFest"? The hearts symbolizes a commemorative scavenger hunt, created by local artists like the "Port Aransas Sandcastle Guy" to promote love, happiness, and community engagement during the event. These hidden hearts serve as a "hidden gems" attraction for attendees to discover amidst the massive sand sculptures. If you find one please post a pic. We’ll post ours on Sunday.

70 MPH on I-35 is the most confusing relationship you’ll ever have.

Your GPS says “arrive in 2 hours,” but traffic through Austin, Texas says “best I can do is 3… and emotional damage.”
Meanwhile a guy towing a trailer twice the size of your car passes you like physics is optional, someone merges without looking because “y’all will figure it out,” and a Buc-ee’s billboard promises snacks, gas, and spiritual healing in 20 miles.
A sudden thunderstorm turns the highway into a slip-n-slide, the sun comes back 10 minutes later like nothing happened, and a longhorn in a nearby field watches the whole thing like it’s just another Tuesday.
Welcome to Texas — where the roads are endless, the weather has mood swings, and the speed limit is more of a group suggestion than a rule.
