Tamucc Honors Program

A successful Honors experience requires an exceptional commitment from participating students and faculty.

The Honors Program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi offers enriched plans of study to highly motivated students who have the ability to excel academiically and the desire to develop global perspectives. Honors students are challenged with innovative, participatory, and rigorous learning experiences in a community of similarly motivated learners. Faculty members provide both discipline-specif

ic and interdisciplinary instruction as well as facilitate co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities. Faculty also provide personal mentoring for and collaborative partnerships with their students. Students and faculty have a unique opportunity in the Honors Program for development and recognition of their interests, skills, abilities, and potential.

The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging at TAMU-CC invites you to celebrate Black History Month! They have an exciting weekend planned, starting with a showing of Black Panther in the UC Rotunda this Friday at 6:30.
On Saturday, stop by the House of Rock’s History Harvest at Art Walk. You will get the chance to see records of Corpus Christi through the years and even donate your own to expand the collections of Black history in the Coastal Bend!

Huge shoutout to the Honors students that helped out at the Coastal Bend Food Bank Miles for Meals Walk! Our volunteers helped run water stations at various locations along the route. All proceeds from the event went toward the Coastal Bend Food Bank Backpack Program that ensures participating school-aged children receive meals over the weekend when school is not in session. Thank you for serving your community!
