In an effort to make the campus more environmentally friendly, Texas A&M University Corpus Christi students voted in favor of an Environmental Service Fee in Fall 2010. To carry out student initiatives for green ideas for the campus, the Environment Advisory Council encourages students and student organizations to
submit ideas to the Island Green forum. Ideas of increasing “Green” awareness of en

vironmental conservation, providing efficient use of energy, and/or projects for creating renewable energy that are
submitted, will be reviewed by the council members of the Environment Advisory Council. The Council will choose the best possible Idea or Ideas and will work to make Your Ideas a Reality!!! Write to the Environment Advisory Council to express your idea for a greener University. Describe your idea and explain why it is important or necessary to implement. Submit your Environmental Service Fee Initiative! Go Green at http://islandergreen.tamucc.edu
