claria: “Brynn and I met on instagram. I was desperately searching for a roommate. We agreed to live together and go through recruitment together. Since the second she walked into our dorm on move in day, I knew she was my person. Recruitment was overwhelming for me but she helped me throughout the whole week and encouraged me to keep going every single day. When we both got bids from Chi O on bid day, we ran to each other. I cried. In that moment I knew that I was where I was supposed to be. Brynn and I got initiated together, walked to events together, and got ready together. From striking up conversations with random people, to sitting silently in our corners of the room, she has always been there with me. We have grown so much together in Chi O. So much of my growth has been thanks to her. She has encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone, reach for my dreams, and be confident in myself, and so has Chi O. I am so proud of her role in the chapter and in my life. There’s no other person I would rather go through this whole experience with and no other place I could call home. ❤️”

brynn: “I could not imagine my first year at OSU without Claira. Formally meeting her for the first time on move in day made me realize that she is my person. Convincing her to go through recruitment with me was the best decision ever! Running to Claira on bid day with bid cards both saying Chi Omega is a memory I’ll never forget. Joining Chi Omega together helped our friendship grow so much. We have built the best memories through the sorority! Claira continues to bring out the best in me. I never have to pretend to be someone I’m not when I’m around her. She is so authentically herself and brings a light wherever she goes. I am forever grateful that I get to call her my best friend!!!”

“Hi there! My name is Lilyan and I’m from Cabot, Arkansas! I’m currently enrolled at Oregon State as a Marketing major. When I graduate, my biggest dream is to focus my passion for makeup into a managerial role with Rare Beauty! During my free time I love traveling and spending time with my two kitties ◡̈ I joined Chi Omega because of connections I found. When I met members of Chi O, I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of the sisterhood. I’ve felt welcomed and loved since the very beginning, and I’m ecstatic for the future with my sisters. 💗”

April Martus!!

april joined chi o as apart of mc 22’ and is graduating with her degree in chemical engineering with a minor in chemistry!! the thing she loves most about chi o is her family, “dam fam!” “i know that with them i always have people to rely on, trust, and have a good time with! they bring so much laughter and joy into my life! i can’t wait to call them sisters forever!” her favorite memory has been “my freshmen year sisterhood retreat where we played paintball and laser tag with each other” after college she plans to travel for a few months and then start her job as a nuclear test engineer in october!!

we are so proud of you april! and so lucky to get to call you our sister!! ❤️

our next senior spotlight goes to….

Paige Baker!!

paige joined chi o as apart of mc 22’ and is graduating with her degree in human development and family sciences!! what she loves most about chi o is that “through my time in chi o, i’ve made lifelong friends! through sisters have come and gone as i’ve progressed from freshmen year to now, they have lifted me up every step of the way. i don’t think i could’ve gotten through college without them!” her favorite memory from her time in chi o was when she got her big revealed to her!! “she was the one who showed me what it ment to be a chi o every round of recruitment and during my time as a new member. big/little reveal that year happened to also be on my birthday, and it was such a wonderful way to celebrate it! i felt so much love from my fam that day, and im so proud of what my fam has become!” some advice she had for future chi os it to “take every opportunity to make friends, as they will be the ones who get you through these 4 years and to have fun when you’re not being studious!” after college paige will be attending lewis & clark to purse her masters in marriage, couple, and family therapy!!

we are beyond proud of you paige! and can’t wait to cheer you on at lewis & clark!! 💕

Nicole Cramer!!!

nicole joined chi o as apart of mc 22’ and is graduating with her degree in chemical engineering!! the thing she loves most about chi o is the people!! “everyone is accepting and uplifting in the best ways!!” her favorite memory from her time in chi o is “living in and getting to become besties with all my roommates, and getting a little and watching her be the funniest person ever every time she talks!!” some advice she has for future chi os is “if you hide your true self you won’t find people who you truly love! be yourself and the right people will come!” after college she plans to become an engineer or disappear into the wilderness!!
