How students obtain their diploma after graduating
• Once final grades are recorded and degrees are awarded, each student will receive an email that enables them to order their diploma for free.
• The email comes from [email protected], and it is sent to their OSU student email account.
• The student must open the email and submit the address to which they want their diploma mailed.
o After the response is received, the diploma is printed and mailed to the address provided.
o If no response is received, no diploma is printed or shipped.
• It takes approximately 1 month for diplomas to be delivered after a student submits their address.
• Our notification date for winter term is April 6, 2026. You can view the conferral dates, expected award dates, and notification dates for upcoming terms on our Graduating from OSU page.
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

The Pacific Islander Association (PIA) invites you to join us for our Talanoa Gathering. This event will provide a welcoming space for students and community members to engage in meaningful talanoa (conversation), connect with one another and participate in a collaborative stamp workshop centered on creativity and cultural expression. Hosted in collaboration with West-Indian and Caribbean Voices for Empowerment and Solidarity (WAVES), Native American Student Association (NASA) and Hui O Hawai'i (HOH), this gathering brings together Indigenous student communities for an afternoon dedicated to relationship-building, storytelling and shared cultural connection. All are welcome to attend as we come together to foster community and strengthen connections across campus. 1-4 p.m., March 13, Kaku-Ixt Mana Ina Haws.

I am so pleased to share information below about this year’s Empty Bowls benefit, coordinated every year by Sarah Cunningham and the Food in Culture & Social Justice Program: Saturday, March 7, 5-7pm in McNary Dining Center. The money raised through this event will benefit two local non-profits, our very own Basic Needs Center and food pantry as well as Fresh & Local, First!, which funds SNAP match at Farmers’ Markets in Linn and Benton counties. Thank you, Sarah, for the important work you do to support food security efforts locally and regionally.
