♻️🎣 We’re excited to announce a new partnership for our Okoboji 10K — Revived Bait Co.

If you haven’t heard of them, Revived Bait Co. is on a mission to keep soft plastics out of our lakes by collecting torn-up and discarded baits from anglers and turning them into brand-new plastics. It’s a simple idea that makes a real impact on the fisheries we all love.

Just a reminder that registration closes June 4th at 11:59pm!

We will be set up by 4:15am on Saturday and Sunday to begin check in. You don’t need to be there that early, but please be there in the water ready to go by 5:45am.

Blast Off Position will be randomly drawn on live-stream June 5th time TBD. You don’t need to watch if you don’t want as you will also receive a text message with this info!

On The Water Meeting followed by the National Anthem - 5:45am
Blast off - 6:00am
Flight 1 Check In- 2:00pm

If you’re still on the fence, remember this tournament is about more than just fishing. Every single boat signed up directly helps support the Southwestern Community College Bass Fishing Team. The money raised helps provide opportunities and scholarships for current and future college anglers, and we truly appreciate every team that chooses to support the event.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE 1 WEEK AWAY!

We are now just ONE WEEK away from the registration deadline on June 4th at 11:59pm.

We have 49 boats registered! I anticipate a few more will trickle in these next few days.

We will be LIVESTREAMING our blastoff and weigh in both days!

-June 5th we will go LIVE on Facebook establish everyone's blastoff position. If you do not watch the livestream, that's ok! I'm doing it for transparency. You will receive a text message from WeighBook showing your boat number and check in time each day.

-Team check in/livewell checks will be from 4:30am-5:45am June 6th. We will have our team tent set up and college anglers checking livewells as you launch your boat. You should be in the water ready to go prior to 5:45am.

-5:45am will begin on-the-water meeting and the National Anthem
-6:00am Blast Off
-2:00pm Flight 1 Check In
-2:15pm Flight 2 Check In
-2:30pm Flight 3 Check In

*I will equally divide the total number of boats into 3 flights regardless of the overall number of entries. This ensures all anglers get equal fishing time over the two days.

*Weigh-In bags are provided. If you use your own bag, it MUST have a mesh insert. We will have two oxygenated refresh tanks on site.

We're pleased to announce a special and fun incentive for the Okoboji 10K, courtesy of our friend from Deadeye Life Outdoors.

Deadeye Life Outdoors, a Nebraska-based angler renowned for his expertise in catfishing and humor, has recently surpassed 1,000 subscribers on YouTube. We encourage you to follow him and enjoy his entertaining content, which showcases the highs and lows of his experiences.

Colin has donated a SWEET combo to the last-place finishers! They will receive an amazing catfishing combo. This premium setup includes a Puscifun Alijoz 300 bait cast reel paired with a Mad Katz Triumph Rod, far surpassing the quality of the ol’ Zebco 808. Colin even took the time to purchase a rod that matches our school colors!

The DNR did not authorize any other tournament permits on June 6-7th knowing this event would be large.

Right now there are ONLY 39 teams signed up for Iowa’s highest paying bass tournament… meaning the opportunity to turn a $250 entry fee into a $10,000 payday is VERY real 💰🏆

With the strange spring conditions we’ve seen on the Iowa Great Lakes this year, the Okoboji bite has been anything but predictable… and that opens the door WIDE OPEN for someone to cash a huge check.
